Problem
I have an electric Samsung oven/range. Recently, the oven does not heat up to the correct temperatures. The oven sounded the indicator within about 5 minutes. It says that reached a full 350 degrees. However, the oven was only about 175 degrees. I kept the oven on for about an hour and it still held the same temperature.
Things I Tried
- Replaced Sensor: I replaced the sensor, it seemed easy enough. This did not solve the issue.
- Called Repair Company: This has been a roller coaster for them. Here is what they did:
- Replaced Main Control: Did not fix the issue.
- Replaced Bake Element: Did not fix the issue.
- Replaced Sensor: Just in case the one I did was bad. Did not fix the issue.
- Replaced Harness: Did not fix the issue. They are now at a loss and marked the appliance as unfixable.
Question
Does anyone have any idea what would cause this oven not to heat properly? Is it truly unfixable?
Type: Range
Brand: Samsung
Model: NE594R0ABS

Explanation
There is currently a class action lawsuit happening over the temperature sensor in this oven. The suit is for any models that have this temperature sensor: DG32-00002B.
Here is a link to the class action: Samsung Range Class Action.
I am currently unable to find a fix for this, it seems hit or miss on some of the posts I've seen.
It may be time to bring this up to Samsung or replace the unit. I have had success with replacing the sensor and/or the board. Other times, I've had no success.

It sounds like your Samsung oven may have a faulty relay on the control board or an issue with the power supply to the bake element. Even though the control board was replaced, check for proper voltage at the element terminals. A weak or intermittent relay connection can cause low heat. If power is insufficient, the issue could be wiring-related. If the Appliance repair company marked it as unfixable, you may want a second opinion from another appliance repair expert before replacing the unit.
