Problem

I'm trying to force cycle this ice maker to see if it works. Ice maker cycling is not the service manual.

What I've Tried

  1. Diagnostic Mode: Went through each setting in diagnostic mode. Ice maker harvest does not exist.

Explanation

Remove the cover and use a jumper wire between H and T.

Tips

  1. The ice maker will run even if it is too warm.
  2. The ice maker will not run if the bi-metal is bad.
  3. The ice maker should cycle a full 360 degrees and fill with water.
  4. The jumper can be removed after the cycle begins. It will finish even when the jumper is removed.
