Trophies are awarded to users that participate on the platform. These trophies are then displayed on your user card along with your title and score.
This system exists for two reasons:
- to encourage participation
- to teach users how the platform works
Trophies fall into three categories:
Bronze Tier
Bronze trophies are awarded for trying out basic features on the platform. These trophies encourage new users to participate in answering questions, creating questions, filling out your profile, etc.
Silver Tier
Silver trophies are awarded to experienced users that regularly use Appliance Surge. These trophies are awarded for longer term goals.
Gold Tier
Gold trophies are awarded to the most committed users. These trophies are awarded for the most difficult feats.
Trophies are awarded based on numeric values or actions. Not arbitrarily awarded by a human. Trophies can only be awarded once, normal regular participation will earn you all trophies naturally.
